Gratitude For Google

Thank you to the Google volunteers who shared their time working with MRC in the past two weeks as part of the company-wide Google Serve annual volunteer campaign!

On June 13th, a large group showed up at the New Leaf Farm first thing in the morning to hand-pollinate corn, cut down mesquite, trim trees and dig up cacti. We are grateful to them for braving the heat and energetically taking on the challenge of farm work for a day. 

On June 26th a group met at Open Arms Studio for one-on-one technology mentoring with the refugee staff. They worked together on apps and programs on laptops and phones, including Google Hangout, Sheets, Translate, etc. and even got to peruse the new website.

We appreciate this wonderful partnership!
