Community Supported Agriculture

Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) programs create a unique relationship between a farm and the local community. Community members like you become investors in the farm, and by doing so are buying into both the risks and the rewards of the farm. Your upfront financial commitment provides funding for the farmers to prepare beds, buy seeds and transplants and get the season off to a strong start. Once harvest begins, you receive shares of the fresh produce you’ve supported on a regular basis.

New Leaf Farm’s CSA goes one step further and not only contributes to much-needed local food production in Central Texas, but our farm also creates agricultural livelihoods for refugees. When you become a member you are also creating dignified, fair wage work for refugees resettled in Austin.
