English Class at Open Arms

Lunch break once a week has gotten a little different at Open Arms Studio. Thanks to volunteer and veteran ESL teacher, Mary Braunagel-Brown, we are offering two hours of paid English as a Second Language (ESL) education to the refugee staff. English proficiency varies from person to person and Mary is focusing in on learning the needs of each woman in order to help her progress. We're excited to have arrived at this milestone and hope to continue to expand life skills support to our staff!
