Sarah was born and raised in Indiana, where she attended Purdue University and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology. During her time at Purdue, she worked at a diverse preschool in the University’s married housing area. The majority of children there were from families new to America whose parents were pursuing a degree at Purdue. Inspired by her work and relationships with families there, Sarah decided to spend a year teaching in South Korea after graduation. There she taught English conversation to grades 1-9. After returning to the U.S., she continued her work with children in a variety of settings with kids between the ages of 2 months to 18 years. Currently, she works as a Lead Teacher in the toddler classroom of a Montessori School.
