Multicultural Refugee Coalition Privacy Policy
The Multicultural Refugee Coalition (MRC) is committed to respecting your privacy. This privacy policy governs our collection of particular information and how we will protect the privacy of any personal information we collect from our website, volunteer applications, email, regular mail correspondence, and other means.

MRC uses reasonable efforts to avoid disclosure of information which is confidential, privileged, or nonpublic other than in accordance with this privacy policy.

MRC reserves the right to change this policy whenever deemed necessary without prior notification. Should changes be made, they will be posted on our website. Any such change will be effective immediately upon posting.

MRC accepts various different forms and documents which may contain personally identifying information. IP Addresses

MRC serves as an information clearinghouse for refugee-related topics, and our website links to many other websites at the national, regional, state, and local levels. Although we work hard to make sure we are linking to appropriate sites, we are not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of sites to which we link.

Online Surveys
Occasionally we may ask you to participate in online surveys in the interest of accomplishing our mission. Such surveys are always on a volunteer basis, and it is not necessary for you to fill it out. Should you decide to fill out a survey, the types of information that are collected may include demographics such as zip codes, age group, services received or provided, etc. However, none of this information will be collected in a manner that can be used to identify any one individual. Survey information is used in the aggregate to improve our organizational and online services.

To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, we have put in place reasonable physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online for reasonable foreseeable risk. MULTICULTURAL REFUGEE COALITION MAKES NO WARRANTIES AS TO THE SECURITY OF YOUR DATA COMMUNICATIONS, OR THAT THIRD PARTIES WILL NOT GAIN UNATHORIZED ACCSES TO OR MONITOR YOUR COMPUTERS OR ONLINE COMMUNICATIONS. Protecting the privacy of young children is especially important. For that reason, we do not knowingly collect or maintain personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13.
