An African proverb:
There once was a village woman who wanted to make some soup. She started with a fire, a big pot and some stones and stared to make her soup in the middle of the village. A fisherman walked by and told her that she can't make soup with just stones and offered her a fish for the soup. Then the farmer walked by and told her she can't make soup with just some stones and some fish- that she needs some vegetables too which he offered to her. Each villager contributed to each part of the soup until the soup was just right.
